Sons of Liberty Academy
The Sons of Liberty Academy is the intellectual foundation for the global evolution of humanity. It is a comprehensive look at the world that enslaves man with Debt and Death and it offers a way for humanity to be free. Chris Duane provides the student, through 10 lectures, with the wisdom that is necessary to become totally independent. He explains how to find personal peace and financial freedom in the midst of our chaotic world.

Module 1
-
When You Are Aware - Part 1
The journey begins by questioning the assumptions we rarely stop to examine. Awareness starts when you recognize that what feels normal may simply be what you were taught to accept.
-
When You Are Aware - Part 2
Once you begin seeing the patterns, familiar ideas start looking different. This lesson pushes deeper into how beliefs are formed, reinforced, and rarely questioned.
-
When You Are Aware - Part 3
Awareness means learning to recognize the mechanisms behind the message. Chris continues pulling apart the narratives, incentives, and influences that shape how we see the world.
-
When You Are Aware - Part 4
The first module comes together by turning awareness into a new way of thinking. Once you learn to recognize the pattern, it becomes much harder to ignore.
-
-
Module 2
-
We Are Controlled - Part 1
Control is not always obvious. This lesson begins examining the systems and institutions that influence our choices while giving us the impression that we are completely free.
-
We Are Controlled - Part 2
Chris goes deeper into how dependence can become a powerful form of control—and why understanding what you depend on is essential to becoming more independent.
-
We Are Controlled - Part 3
The focus expands from individual systems to the larger structure connecting them. Look beyond isolated events and begin examining the incentives operating underneath them.
-
We Are Controlled - Part 4
This lesson brings the pieces together and asks a critical question: how much control can a system exercise when most people never recognize the system itself?
-
-
Module 3
-
Who Is In Control - Part 1
If control exists, where does the real power sit? Chris begins looking beyond the visible institutions and personalities to examine the structures operating behind them.
-
Who Is In Control - Part 2
Power is rarely as simple as one person or organization. This lesson explores how influence can move through interconnected institutions, interests, and systems.
-
Who Is In Control - Part 3
Follow the structure rather than the headline. Chris continues examining how power protects itself, concentrates itself, and can operate beyond what the public normally sees.
-
Who Is In Control - Part 4
The module closes by connecting visible authority with deeper systems of influence, preparing you to examine one of the most powerful battlegrounds of all: the human mind.
-
-
Module 4
-
Psychological Control - Part 1
Before someone can control your actions, they must influence how you perceive the world. This lesson introduces the psychological side of power.
-
Psychological Control - Part 2
Repetition can make an idea feel true simply because it feels familiar. Chris examines how messages become beliefs when they are reinforced often enough.
-
Psychological Control - Part 3
Fear changes how people think, react, and make decisions. This lesson explores why emotional pressure can be more powerful than direct force.
-
Psychological Control - Part 4
What happens when conformity becomes more comfortable than questioning? Chris looks at the social pressures that can keep people inside accepted boundaries of thought.
-
Psychological Control - Part 5
Control becomes stronger when people begin policing themselves. This lesson examines how outside expectations can eventually become internal limitations.
-
Psychological Control - Part 6
Entertainment, information, authority, and culture all compete for attention. Chris explores how controlling attention can influence what people believe matters.
-
Psychological Control - Part 7
The deeper psychological battle is over perception itself. This lesson challenges you to separate what you personally know from what you have simply absorbed.
-
Psychological Control - Part 8
The module concludes with the most important defense against psychological control: becoming conscious of the mechanisms attempting to influence you.
-
-
Module 5
-
Financial Control - Part 1
Money touches nearly every decision we make, yet few people study how the monetary system actually works. Chris begins pulling back that curtain.
-
Financial Control - Part 2
Debt can finance opportunity—but it can also create dependence. This lesson examines the relationship between borrowing, obligation, and financial control.
-
Financial Control - Part 3
Where does money come from, and who benefits from the way it is created? Chris goes deeper into the structure behind modern money.
-
Financial Control - Part 4
Inflation changes more than prices. This lesson examines how the purchasing power of money can shift over time and what that means for ordinary people.
-
Financial Control - Part 5
Financial markets can appear complex by design. Chris works through the larger system to show why understanding incentives matters more than following headlines.
-
Financial Control - Part 6
When wealth exists mainly as numbers inside financial institutions, questions of ownership, access, and counterparty risk become increasingly important.
-
Financial Control - Part 7
This lesson begins shifting from diagnosis toward independence by examining why Chris places such importance on tangible assets and physical silver.
-
Financial Control - Part 8
Financial Control concludes by connecting money, debt, independence, and personal responsibility—the foundation for understanding why the Academy ultimately focuses on preparation.
-
-
Module 6
-
Ancient Control - Part 1
Many modern systems have much older roots. Chris begins moving backward through history to examine how power, debt, authority, and control evolved.
-
Ancient Control - Part 2
Empires change, but certain patterns repeat. This lesson looks at recurring relationships between concentrated power, money, conflict, and society.
-
Ancient Control - Part 3
Understanding history means looking beyond dates and names to recognize the structures that survive from one era to another.
-
Ancient Control - Part 4
The past becomes useful when it helps explain the present. Chris connects the historical patterns explored here with the modern systems examined next.
-
-
Module 7
-
Modern Control - Part 1
Ancient methods of control did not disappear—they evolved. This lesson begins examining how old power structures operate inside a modern technological society.
-
Modern Control - Part 2
Modern life produces extraordinary convenience, but convenience can also create dependence. Chris examines the trade-offs hidden inside systems we use every day.
-
Modern Control - Part 3
Information has become one of the most valuable forms of power. This lesson explores what happens when communication, surveillance, and influence converge.
-
Modern Control - Part 4
Political, financial, technological, and cultural systems increasingly overlap. Chris examines what this convergence means for individual independence.
-
Modern Control - Part 5
The modern-control section closes by bringing the Academy into the present: understanding the system is only useful if that knowledge changes how you prepare.
-
-
Module 8
-
Where Are We - Part 1
After examining how the system developed, the Academy turns to the present. Where are we now—and what do the warning signs actually mean?
-
Where Are We - Part 2
Chris begins connecting the financial, political, social, and psychological themes from earlier modules to the world we experience today.
-
Where Are We - Part 3
The goal is not simply to predict events. It is to recognize vulnerabilities before they become personal emergencies.
-
Where Are We - Part 4
Preparation begins with understanding what you cannot control—and identifying the areas of your life where you still have meaningful choices.
-
Where Are We - Part 5
Financial resilience becomes part of a much larger strategy. Chris examines why preparation involves more than simply accumulating money.
-
Where Are We - Part 6
What would happen if the systems you rely on became unreliable? This lesson encourages you to think through dependence before circumstances force the question.
-
Where Are We - Part 7
Physical resources, skills, relationships, and knowledge all play different roles in resilience. Preparation becomes practical rather than theoretical.
-
Where Are We - Part 8
Chris continues moving from awareness toward action by examining how individuals can reduce exposure to fragile systems.
-
Where Are We - Part 9
True preparation is not built on panic. It comes from calmly identifying risks and making deliberate decisions while you still have options.
-
Where Are We - Part 10
The discussion expands beyond surviving disruption toward protecting the people and principles that matter most to you.
-
Where Are We - Part 11
Independence does not mean isolation. This lesson considers the importance of strong families, communities, cooperation, and shared knowledge.
-
Where Are We - Part 12
The Academy's earlier lessons begin converging here: awareness, financial understanding, independence, and preparation become parts of one strategy.
-
Where Are We - Part 13
“Where Are We?” concludes with the transition from understanding the present to imagining what could come next—and what role individuals can play in shaping it.
-
-
Module 9
-
Where We Are Going - Part 1
Once you understand the problems, the next question is bigger: what should replace them? This module begins shifting from criticism toward possibility.
-
Where We Are Going - Part 2
Chris explores what greater personal independence could look like when people begin building alternatives instead of waiting for institutions to change.
-
Where We Are Going - Part 3
A different future requires different assumptions about money, value, responsibility, and community. This lesson pushes the conversation beyond the existing system.
-
Where We Are Going - Part 4
Change becomes meaningful when ideas turn into action. Chris examines the role individuals can play in creating something more durable from the bottom up.
-
Where We Are Going - Part 5
The module concludes with a forward-looking challenge: awareness is only the beginning. What matters now is what you choose to build with it.
-
-
Module 10
-
You Can Prepare - Part 1
The final module turns knowledge into action. Chris begins assembling the lessons of the Academy into a practical philosophy of preparation and independence.
-
You Can Prepare - Part 2
Preparation starts with personal responsibility—examining your finances, dependencies, priorities, and the decisions still within your control.
-
You Can Prepare - Part 3
Financial preparation becomes one piece of a larger objective: building a life that is more resilient when established systems become uncertain.
-
You Can Prepare - Part 4
Knowledge has little value if it never changes behavior. This lesson focuses on moving from understanding the problem to actually doing something about it.
-
You Can Prepare - Part 5
Chris expands preparation beyond material concerns and into mindset, purpose, relationships, and the principles guiding your decisions.
-
You Can Prepare - Part 6
Independence is not achieved in a single decision. It is built through repeated choices that gradually reduce dependence and increase resilience.
-
You Can Prepare - Part 7
The Academy begins coming full circle as awareness, preparation, financial independence, consciousness, and personal responsibility converge.
-
You Can Prepare - Part 8
The final lesson leaves the decision with you. You have seen Chris's argument, followed the history, and examined the system. What you do with that knowledge is your responsibility.
-
Congratulations
You have completed the Sons of Liberty Academy. The goal was never simply to finish the videos—it was to see the world differently and decide for yourself what comes next.

Chris Duane’s primary approach has been to encourage people to "stack" physical silver as a hedge against inflation, bank failures, rampant government debt, and political manipulation of fiat currencies. Physical silver has 10,000 industrial uses, including being antimicrobial, so it has value well beyond just being a monetary asset.
Chris began his career as a silver guru with the creation of his YouTube channel in 2011. In 2012, he was invited, through an associate of Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), to write testimony about the importance of community currencies, eg. Ithica Hours, which was given before a US Congressional Hearing in Washington, DC.
